TJ’s BBQ Cafe respects the importance of protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how TJ’s BBQ Cafe collects and manages your personal information.

By providing TJ’s BBQ Cafe with any personal information, you agree to this Privacy Policy and consent to the collection and use of personal information by TJ’s BBQ Cafe in accordance with it.

If the information TJ’s BBQ Cafe collects personally identifies you (meaning we know who you are), or you are reasonably identifiable from it (meaning we can work out who you are from other information we have about you), the information will be considered personal information.

3. Why Does TJ's BBQ Cafe Collect, Hold, Use, and Disclose Personal Information?

TJ’s BBQ Cafe collects, holds, uses, and discloses personal information to help us provide you with the best BBQ experience, and for a number of other purposes, including:

  • to assist in providing our delicious BBQ and sides to you;
  • to assist in responding to any requests you make to us (like catering inquiries or special order requests);
  • to communicate promotional offers and special events (like live music nights or BBQ specials);
  • to process orders submitted via TJ’s BBQ Cafe’s online ordering service and process payments for those orders;
  • to assess the performance and to improve the operation of the TJ’s BBQ Cafe Website or TJ’s BBQ Cafe App;
  • for the internal administrative, marketing (including direct or targeted marketing), planning, product development, quality control, and research purposes of TJ’s BBQ Cafe;
  • to process and assess applications received by us (for instance, in selecting employment candidates);
  • to administer any agreement and provide the services thereunder (like catering contracts);
  • to administer any programs which TJ’s BBQ Cafe may decide to implement, including loyalty or rewards programs;
  • to administer any promotions or offers (like BBQ competitions or discounts);
  • to process and respond to any complaint made by you;
  • to comply with any law, rule, regulation, lawful and binding determination, decision, or direction of a regulator, or in co-operation with any governmental authority of any country;
  • for any other purpose made known to you at the time of collection of your personal information.

TJ’s BBQ Cafe may disclose the information collected to agents and employees of TJ’s BBQ Cafe but only for the purpose for which such information was collected.

At any time, you may opt out of receiving any communications from TJ’s BBQ Cafe (other than as required for the operation of TJ’s BBQ Cafe’s business, e.g., regarding payment of your account).

Your personal information will not be shared, sold, rented, or disclosed other than as described in this Privacy Policy.

4. What Personal Information About You Does TJ's BBQ Cafe Collect or Hold?

The type of personal information we collect depends on how we engage with you. TJ’s BBQ Cafe may collect or hold information received as a result of any dealing, transaction, or interaction with you, including:

  • your username and password for your online account or loyalty membership;
  • CCTV or other surveillance device images of you when you visit a TJ’s BBQ Cafe restaurant;
  • your credit card or other payment/financial information;
  • information about your Internet Protocol (IP) address, your location, and websites visited;
  • information about the BBQ dishes and sides you view or purchase on the TJ’s BBQ Cafe Website or TJ’s BBQ Cafe App;
  • details of any BBQ products or catering you have enquired about;
  • information you provide to TJ’s BBQ Cafe directly through the TJ’s BBQ Cafe Website or in-store, or indirectly through your use of the TJ’s BBQ Cafe Website or TJ’s BBQ Cafe App;
  • information you provide to TJ’s BBQ Cafe through competitions or other promotional activities;
  • other information you may make publicly available online (including but not limited to information on social media platforms);
  • and/or other information that you may provide to TJ’s BBQ Cafe from time to time or that TJ’s BBQ Cafe may collect when providing goods and services to you. Any data related to the transaction(s) of TJ’s BBQ Cafe products or services including, last shopped restaurant, purchase history.

If you are an applicant for employment, TJ’s BBQ Cafe may collect or hold information relevant to such employment, including:

  • your contact details, including name, age or birth date, address, phone numbers, and email address;
  • employment history and other information you submit to us as part of your application for employment (which includes any information contained in any resume you provide to us).

TJ’s BBQ Cafe may also collect some information that is not personal information because it does not identify you or anyone else. For example, TJ’s BBQ Cafe may collect anonymous answers to surveys or aggregated information about how users use the TJ’s BBQ Cafe Website and/or the TJ’s BBQ Cafe App.

You must not provide TJ’s BBQ Cafe with personal information of another person, other than with TJ’s BBQ Cafe’s express permission. If at any time you provide the personal information of another person to TJ’s BBQ Cafe, then you must ensure that that person has read and understood this Privacy Policy and separately consents to that personal information being used and disclosed by us for the above purposes.

TJ's BBQ Cafe Online Ordering Terms and Conditions

1. ACCESSING THE ONLINE ORDERING SERVICE

  1. You may browse the Online Ordering Service and submit Orders as a guest, or create a user account (Account) by clicking on the registration link or when submitting an Order.
  2. If you do create an Account, you will provide your details (including your payment details) which we will store on your Account or with our secure third-party payment provider to make it easier for you to submit Orders in the future (like your favorite smoked ribs and sides).
  3. To create an Account or submit an Order, you warrant that all information given to us is true and correct.

2. PLACING ORDERS

  1. To place an Order via the Online Ordering Service you will be required to specify: (a) the BBQ and side dishes you want to order (Ordered Products); (b) the TJ’s BBQ Cafe location at which you will collect your Order (Designated Restaurant); (c) the estimated collection time for the Order (Pickup Time); (d) your payment information; and (e) any other details we require to finalize your Order.
  2. Please ensure that you check all of the details you enter and correct any errors before submitting your Order, as we will begin preparing your BBQ immediately. You won’t be able to cancel or vary your Order, except as allowed under clause 6.
  3. We reserve the right to refuse any Order on any grounds.

3. SELECTING A PICKUP TIME

  1. When placing an Order for later in the day, you will be asked to choose a Pickup Time, which is an estimated time for collection of your BBQ from the Designated Restaurant.
  2. If you select the ‘Order Now’ option, we will let you know the earliest possible time we can have your BBQ ready for collection and ask you to confirm that time.
  3. The Pickup Time must be on the same day the Order is submitted and must be within the opening hours of the Designated Restaurant.
  4. Please only submit an Order if you intend to collect the Order at the Pickup Time, as we will fire up the smokers and prepare your Ordered Products in anticipation of your arrival at the Pickup Time.

4. PRICES

  1. The prices published on the Online Ordering Service will apply to the Ordered Products. All prices stated on the Online Ordering Platform are inclusive of GST.
  2. The Online Ordering Service may allow you to apply certain available discounts or promotions to Orders submitted via the Online Ordering Feature (like a family pack discount or a weekday special). If you wish to take advantage of one of our discounts or promotions which is not able to be claimed via our Online Ordering Service, please call one of our restaurants directly to place a telephone order.
  3. We reserve the right to refuse an Order or alter the agreed price if an incorrect price was given due to a software malfunction or interference with the Online Ordering Service.

5. PAYMENT

  1. You must pay for the BBQ at the time of submitting your Order using an approved payment method. Approved payment methods include Apple Pay, Google Pay, Credit Cards, Zip, and AliPay.
  2. The payment will be processed by us immediately and will be debited from your account in the timeframe set by your card or account provider.
  3. If we are unable to authorize your payment via the selected payment method at check out, you will be alerted and your Order will not be processed.
  4. We have engaged a third-party payment provider to securely process credit and debit card payments and store payment details for Account holders. We will not store your credit or debit card information on our servers and will not have direct access to your payment information.

6. CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS BY YOU

  1. You may cancel or change your Order at any time up to 30 minutes before the Pickup Time, by contacting our customer service team directly at [ info@tjfoods.pixelz360.com]. No changes or cancellations will be accepted within 30 minutes prior to the Pickup Time.
  2. If we allow you to cancel or change your Order, your original payment will still be processed. Our customer service team will then determine whether you are eligible for a refund according to clause 9.

7. CHANGES & CANCELLATIONS BY US

  1. If we are unable to fulfill your Order due to unforeseen circumstances, or if one of the BBQ items is no longer available, we may contact you to cancel or vary your Order.
  2. We will endeavor to contact you before the Pickup Time, otherwise, we will do our best to resolve the issue when you arrive at the Designated Restaurant.
  3. In such a case, we will determine whether it is appropriate to: replace the unavailable item with another item of similar value (like a different type of ribs); provide a partial refund of the price of the unavailable item; cancel the entire Order and provide a full refund; or provide another form of compensation that we deem appropriate.
  4. Any approved refunds will be handled by our customer service team as set out in clause 9.

8. COLLECTING YOUR ORDER

  1. Please arrive at the Designated Restaurant at or around the Pickup Time and let a member of the restaurant team know the name attached to the Order.
  2. To collect your Order, a member of our restaurant team will require you to present your Order confirmation or appropriate identification that matches your Order.
  3. We will endeavor to have your BBQ ready to collect at the Pickup Time, but please be patient if there is a short wait due to high demand at the time.
  4. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the Pickup Time, we cannot guarantee that the Ordered Products will live up to our usual high standards of quality and freshness. We won’t generally provide a replacement or refund if your BBQ has lost its BBQ goodness while waiting for you.
  5. We reserve the right to conduct and implement fraud detection processes, including validating your credit card details. If your nominated payment method triggers our fraud prevention protocols, we may ask you to confirm additional details, or rescind the transaction. In this case, your Order must pass our fraud prevention protocols before it will be fulfilled. If you do not provide the requested information, your Order will be canceled and payment returned, if applicable, to the method you originally paid.

9. REFUND POLICY

  1. We have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you are not happy with your BBQ experience, please contact us at [insert TJ’s BBQ Cafe feedback link] and we will work to resolve your concerns.
  2. Any complaint must be submitted to our customer care team for consideration within 48 hours after the Pickup Time. Our team will review your request and get back to you as soon as possible on how we propose to rectify your experience.
  3. Any decision to grant a refund will be at our discretion (subject to our legal obligations) but we will always endeavor to address any complaints to your satisfaction. We will process any approved refunds within 5 business days of approval.

Nutrition & Allergen Disclaimer

Percentage Daily Intakes are based on an average adult diet of 8700 kJ. Your daily intakes may be higher or lower depending on your energy needs.

All nutritional values are based on standardized recipe formulations and average figures. All ingredients and nutritional values are subject to seasonal variations. Serving sizes and nutritional values may vary from store to store due to hand portioning and assembly and do not apply to special customer orders.

Our products are all manufactured & prepared on equipment that may contain small traces or residue or may have been in contact with allergenic substances like cereals, gluten, egg & milk products, peanuts & nuts, seeds & soy products, crustacean & fish products, sulphites, royal jelly, bee pollen & their products. Therefore, we cannot guarantee any of our products are completely allergen free.

While all efforts are made to use Free Range Eggs, if there is a shortage or inability of supply, Cage Free eggs will replace Free Range instore until supply can be recovered.

Some menu items may not be available at all Oporto restaurants and certain stores may at times offer test products, limited time offerings or other regional menu choices not listed.
